Making Agbanga Karite Cocoa Butter

	Producing our virgin cocoa butter begins with the harvest of ripe cocoa pods. The pods are split, and the beans are lightly fermented before being placed to dry in the sun.
	The dried beans are carefully selected and lightly roasted before being ground into a paste.
	The paste is heated to remove extra moisture, and is then whipped with clean, clear water until the cocoa butter separates from the non-oil fraction.
